Sonance VX86R SST Premium 8-Inch Round Single Stereo Speaker

Product Overview

The Sonance VX86R SST is a single-stereo, 8-inch round in-ceiling speaker that delivers stereo sound from one ceiling location, finished with a white micro trim grille. It is built for integrators who need to cover a small room or hallway with stereo audio from a single fixture rather than a left/right pair.

Product Description

Behind the single grille, the VX86R SST packs the drivers needed to reproduce a stereo image from one enclosure, using a 1.2-inch ceramic-dome tweeter (Ferrofluid-cooled) and an 8-inch Kevlar/Nomex woofer with a rubber surround, rated 5W minimum to 150W maximum RMS with a 34Hz20kHz (3dB) frequency response and 91dB sensitivity. This SST (Single Stereo) format is useful in bathrooms, closets, hallways, and other small rooms where installing two separate ceiling speakers is impractical but stereo separation is still desired. The 10.125-inch cutout and 5.51-inch mounting depth match other 8-inch round VX models, and it supports the same one-stage or optional two-stage installation approach used across the Sonance Visual Experience line. It ships with a white micro trim grille and also accepts trimless and TRUFIG finishes. For rooms that call for a conventional stereo pair instead, compare it against the standard VX86R in the broader in-ceiling speaker lineup.
