Sonance VX86R Premium 8-Inch Round In-Ceiling Speaker

Product Overview

The Sonance VX86R is the top-tier 8-inch round in-ceiling speaker in the Visual Experience Series, finished with a white micro trim grille. It sits above the VX80R and VX82R in Sonance’s performance lineup for integrators specifying the highest tier of round ceiling speaker in a project.

Product Description

As the flagship 8-inch round model in the Visual Experience line, the VX86R shares the same waveguide design and CDX crossover philosophy used across Sonance ceiling speakers, tuned to hold coverage and tonal balance consistent whether a zone is played quietly or pushed for a gathering. It supports Sonance’s two-stage installation approach, letting a crew rough in wiring and the mounting frame ahead of drywall and finish the speaker module later, which is useful on larger or phased jobs. The white micro trim grille finish is designed to blend into a painted ceiling, and the model also accepts Sonance’s trimless and TRUFIG grille options for projects wanting a different bezel look. Because it is positioned as the premium round option in the range, it is typically specified for primary listening rooms or reference zones rather than incidental background coverage. Integrators comparing round in-ceiling tiers should review it alongside the VX80R and VX82R in the in-ceiling speaker lineup, and contact Creation Networks for the current detailed spec sheet before finalizing an amplifier pairing.
