Klipsch THX-5002-S In-Ceiling Speaker

Klipsch THX-5002-S In-Ceiling Speaker with Dual Horn Tweeters & Dual Woofers

So stunningly detailed and immersive, the THX-5002-S in-ceiling surround speaker brings a whole new dimension of reality to home theatre. Perhaps that’s why it’s the first of its kind to receive the highly respected Ultra2 certification from THX.

Cinema Quality Sound

Employs dual 5.25-inch (133mm) Cerametallic woofers that operate in an enclosed tuned-port chamber. These exclusive woofer cones offer superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the drivers operating ranges, resulting in consistent bass response regardless of the installation or ceiling air space. Dual 1-inch (25mm) titanium tweeters in a patented 60-90-110-degree horn that features Variable Coverage Technology, or VCT, allows the speaker to create precise imaging and localized sound fields.

THX Ultra Certified

Works well with multi-channel movie and music presentations playing up to reference levels in rooms of 85 cubic metres or larger.

Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST)

In order to create enveloping sound fields and precise localization of individual effects, this speaker also utilizes Klipschs Wide Dispersion Surround Technology. Also referred to as WDST, this no-compromise approach gives much more placement flexibility than conventional designs.

Unlimited Flexibility

Timbre matched to all of Klipschs THX-certified products, so you can mix and match to create an unbeatable, discreet stereo or home theatre system thats just right for you.

Edge-To-Edge Grille

Covering the whole of the speaker makes painting the product both simpler and quicker. Premium Neodymium magnets make it easy to install and remove and ensure a secure and flush fit without any moving parts. The flat grille allows better harmonization with todays modern interior designs and disappears into the background, enabling sound to take centre stage.
