KEF Ci160TS Square In-Ceiling Speaker

KEF Ci160TS Square In-Ceiling Speaker with Ultra Slim Profile

The KEF Ci160TS is an ultra-slim high-performance speaker designed for in-ceiling flush mount installations where mounting depth is a concern. The speaker has a total height of just 40 mm and a mounting depth of only 36mm. Such an incredibly compact package is achievable through the implementation of KEFs patented low profile 4.5 (115mm) mid-bass driver and a 1 (25mm) vented aluminium tweeter. The tweeter includes KEFs Tangerine Waveguide which greatly improves acoustic response and dispersion. The Ci160TS also features KEFs Ultra-Thin Bezel and is built to be moisture resistant making it the ideal choice for any indoor or outdoor luxury audio application where a shallow mounting depth prevents the use of a conventional speaker.

Patented Low Profile Driver

The overall 40mm speaker depth is achieved thanks to a flat 115mm mid bass driver that, despite its slim design, still delivers excellent bass extension.

Tangerine Waveguide

In addition to protecting the driver, the Tangerine Waveguide further enhances dispersion allowing for 160 degrees of coverage.

Weather Resistant

Manufactured using a proprietary plating and powder coating process, the KEF Ci160TS is UV protected and moisture resistant making it safe for use in bathrooms, pool areas, and on ocean yachts.

Ultra-Thin Bezel (UTB)

To maintain a premium aesthetic appearance, the ABS bezel was carefully engineered to be as thin as possible while maintaining the necessary structural rigidity.

Magnetic Grille Assembly

For security and ease of installation the square grille attaches by a powerful magnetic circuit and can be painted to match any dcor.

Versatile Installation

The Ci160TS can be mounted in the tightest of spaces through either traditional dog leg tabs or be screwed directly onto a solid surface.

IP64 Certification

The speaker passed official IEC testing to ensure that splashing water would have no harmful effects on assembly components.
