JD Twitch: Autonomous Africa Vol. 1 12″

JD Twitch can do no wrong. After slaying it with the Cumbia Edits and the Punk New Wave Post Torch Pop Synth Beats EP, the man from Optimo drops a monster EP of heavy afro-influenced house on Autonomous Africa Volume 1. Nothin’ but bangers on this one – from the funked out afro-bumps of Sofrito vs. Tabou No 2’s “Tabou For The People,” to the deep moving Auntie Flo Rework of Atakoru Manu’s “Bebo Komo” or the stomping “Flowers & Bees & Birds & Trees” beats – these cuts are designed to get ’em out on the floor and keep ’em there. Also includes the latin-flavored riddims of “Cumbia 10.” Well recommended.
